Tony Roberts was educated at Michaelhouse in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands. He then completed diplomas in Nature Conservation through Technikon RSA and also Forestry through Saasveld Forestry College. He is an accredited National (All Provinces) Tour Guide (Level 6) (KZN 0095) with 28 years experience in conservation. His consuming interest in bird watching may convert you. He initiated the first Red-billed Oxpecker Re-introduction Programme to Kwazulu Natal in 1996. Tony is actively involved in conservation and is a member of Birdlife South Africa and the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa. He lives at Grey Goose Farm Lodge and conducts game and birding drives within the lodge property; from the lodge or other lodges he conducts birding tours around Dunblane Estate (Newcastle), Memel and Wakkerstroom. On a national level, Tony will conduct tailor made birding and photographic tours to all the major birding spots and game reserves in the country.
